"Dots+Loops Recomposed was truly unique [...] Everything about it from start to finish was awe-inspiring and I don’t even know where to begin to explain how much I enjoyed this concert." — Nahima Kern, The Creative Issue.
Reviews are in for Dots+Loops Recomposed, and the critics loved it. The Creative Issue's Nahima Kern likened Chris Perren's Fibreglass Forestry to "a sweet perfume – complex, with floral notes, and gone all too soon [...] it set the tone for the evening and lingered on in the minds of the audience". And as for Max Richter's "Vivaldi Recomposed", featuring soloist Kyla Matsuura-Miller, Scenestr's Kate Byrne declared it "a feast for the senses [...] Kyla Matsuura-Miller gave a stunning performance, not only playing with poise and drama as the soloist, but visibly leading the band to mesmerising synchronicity [...] There were several moments where irrepressible delight broke out from the tight rhythms and lush harmonies onto the faces of performers and audience alike". Stay tuned for photos from the evening, and make sure to follow Dots+Loops on Facebook to stay up to date with the series.
